My Coaching Services
As a 1:1 coach, I want to help you stay resilient during stressful times and find more fulfillment in work and life. There is no longer a “balance” between work and personal life, rather a rhythm, and both can equally define who we are. Excessive stress can often cause us to lose sight of our own personal values and what makes us happy and feel connected. I want to help. So, if you’re feeling stuck and have a desire to do the work required to move forward, read through my FAQ below and schedule a free intro session to see if I’m a good fit.
-
What type of coaching do you do?My coaching is about you as a whole person: your values, goals, work, balance, fulfillment, and life purpose. Most coaching clients want to achieve specific goals so they can lead a more fulfilling life. We will design a plan that is specific to your needs and aspirations.

What was your training?I completed 104 hours of the Coaches Training Institute’s (CTI) Co-Active Coach® Training Program, which is part of the International Coach Federation’s (ICF) Accredited Coach Training Program. I am currently working toward the coaching hours required for applying for ICF certification, which is accepted as the “gold standard” for professional credentials within the coaching industry.

What is the difference between Coaching, Therapy and Consulting? There are lots of different approaches to all of these, but here are some general guidelines I follow: · Coaching is for when you feel stuck in your present and have the desire to move forward, and we work together to help you find the “how” within you. · Therapy is generally when you feel stuck in your present because of something in your past, and you need to fully explore and understand it. · Coaching clients can sometimes also have a therapist, and that is fine! · Consulting is gaining advice and strategy from someone’s specific expertise – so as your coach, I won’t tell you what to do based on my experience in a similar situation. However, you can ask me specifically for my advice – however, unlike consulting, it will be totally in service to your goals and up to you on whether to take that advice.

How do we meet? (Do I have to live in DC?)Most coaching can be done, very effectively, over the phone or via Zoom! An added bonus is that it makes fitting the time in for this commitment to yourself easier as well. However, if you do want to meet in person, we can absolutely figure that out if you live in the DMV-area. I am very flexible!
-
Can I do a sample session to see if this is right for me?Absolutely – and that 30-minute phone or Zoom call is at no charge. I want you to feel committed to moving forward, and help ensure I’m the right fit for your goals. You can easily schedule that sample session via my online scheduling assistant above or on my contact page.
-
How long is the coaching relationship?Once we agree to work together, I initially ask for a three-month commitment to the coaching process in recognition that change happens over time. This allows the coaching relationship to develop and be powerful. As your coach, I am 100% committed to your success. If there is still work to be done after that three months, we can switch to a month-to-month agreement.
-
How much does it cost? After the initial sample session, we’ll have a longer (up to two hours) “Discovery Session” to design our alliance of working together, and start identifying your goals of coaching. Then we’ll meet for 60-minutes about every-other-week for a total of five additional sessions. This package starts $595 for individual (non-corporate) clients, and does not include any assessments, such as DISC or Strengths Finder.
-
What can I expect from you as a coach? We’ll work on designing this alignment together, however you can expect that, as your coach, I will be: Be fully present, honest and committed to your growth and learning Hold you as naturally creative, resourceful and whole Help you identify things that are important to you Make requests that require you to take action Check-in on the actions you commit to that deepen your learning
-
What will I need to do to be coached?Again, we’ll create this together, but you can expect that you’ll be required to: Be fully present, honest and committed to your own growth and learning Be prepared for each session with an area of focus/agenda/follow-up learning Be open to powerful and challenging questions Commit to deepen your learning between sessions Ask for changes if the coaching strategy is not working
